Raw & Gluten-free Chocolate cake

You know…I think my friend Irja is absolutely right. The first recipe to publish on a new blog should definitely be something with chocolate.

This is an unbelievable recipe by @fruitivorous that will make you want to dance!

Crust
375 g pitted dates (preferably medjools)
125 g raw hazelnuts
1 tsp vanilla bean powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp sea salt

Put everything in a food processor until it is chunky. Press into a 22cm spring form.

Filling
350 g pitted dates
115 g raw almond butter
115 g raw cacao butter (melted)
5 tbsp raw cacao powder
1 tsp vanilla bean powder

Put everything in a food processor until you get a very smooth structure. Pour the filling over the crust and let it become stiff in the fridge. Powder some cacao powder over it before serving. Done!
